THE MOST DEBATED TOPIC
DUB
I had watched Naruto and Monster entirely in DUB followed by One Piece till the Fishman Island Arc, not only that I had completed Attack on Titan and The Promised Neverland in DUB only.
In my opinion, while watching DUB I can say that I did really enjoy the visuals without worrying about subtitles and mostly the fan services [most probably the lewd scene]. The thing that causes dissatisfaction is that not all crossover episodes, end-credit scenes or ova, specials are available in DUB.
So it's nearly impossible to avoid SUB while watching anime. Most newcomers will surely start watching in DUB but they end up eventually enjoying anime in SUB or at least obtaining the RINNEGAN for their convenience [Naruto series reference].
SUB
My first ever pirated anime series was Kampfer which was available only in SUB. Despite that, I did manage to enjoy the "ecchi" (adult) visual at least. But yes, SUB didn't cause any trouble for me in depicting the dialogues or the story.
In my opinion, SUB did cause some trouble during a fast pace scene or during an overcrowded dialogue sequence when you will be sure to pause the screen and read through the dialogues line by line. Even after watching 300+ anime, sometimes it is just easy to enjoy the visuals rather than reading between the SUB.
In final opinion, I enjoy both SUB and DUB equally but nowadays, I am more into SUB because of its ON-DATE anime streaming and adorable "Kawai" voice actress.
